Memorable Childhood!! (8)
annaroach: I have great memories of mine, , wish everyone had the same.
Mostly spent outdoors in Summertime, ,,,,,, coming from a very small rural village.
From spending time on a neighbours farm, to swimming in the local river,
picking blackberries off the bushes,, looking ,to find birds nests,, generally
in tune with nature,, and that love of nature, is still with me today.
In safer times of course, ,and with very little money, nevertheless,
i remember them as magical, times,and have lovely memories.
Has anyone some they would like to share.( I haven't got rose tinted glasses on )

I woke up this morning thinking about it ,that's why i posted.
I know that people will have very different experiences to mine,

Let's just say that if my childhood was now, my "father" would be serving time for his behaviour.

Thx. It's just life. Some had it better, some had it worse.
It's how we react to it that's important.
I am sure there are others who had your childhood who fell by the wayside, but I am happy that your experiences were so positive.
My best moments were those weekends when we stayed with my Nana. Escape was always welcome.

My childhood was great!
Loveling parents, great brothers and wonderful time
I do remember some memories even from my preschool time.
