Of course there is a difference. 100 years ago men were more brave than stupid whereas today they're more stupid than brave. Nonetheless it's two different example of how a people can be pressed into the service of destroying themselves.
And we need to move away from the self-harm of diversity/war(diversity equals war)by making something else the new "it" thing. We need a whole range of arts, media, music and personalities to emotionally manipulate people back towards something to be proud of. Think of it as deprogamming the 1960s to give the automatons a new direction in the world.

One could almost be mistaken for believing that things always become liberal over time when the truth is that it's the culture. The best jokes, the nicest music and the brightest colours have in the 80% been liberal over the last 50 years.
Now you can talk about one man, one vote, substance over style, and independent-thinking but the truth is that emotion rules the many and reason determines the few. The arts war, the culture war, the spin war - liberals have these in the bag and what this means is that each new generation is emotionally biased in favour of liberalism from the very beginning. Detectives are piecing together the history of the Westminster terrorist Khalid Masood, a 52-year-old ex-convict who used a string of aliases and reportedly converted to Islam only in later life.

Fifty people have been confirmed as injured, with 31 requiring hospital treatment. Two police officers remained in hospital with significant injuries.
On Thursday night, thousands of people gathered to commemorate the victims of the attack in Westminster, and to hear speeches by the capital’s mayor and other leaders aimed at preventing terrorism from spreading division and hatred.
The vigil in Trafalgar Square, central London, was held to honour the dead and injured, Sadiq Khan said, but also “to send a clear, clear, message – Londoners will never be cowed by terrorism”.
