Besides the National University of Mexico there are other education institutions like the National Technological Institute (IPN) and many private Universities in Mexico City and each State has its own universities. Education is affordable and there are scholarships + students get paid a monthly income in certain areas like math, physics, and all types of engineering, even trough graduate programs (Masters and Phds)

Corruption is a cancer in the gov of all levels. Crime and corruption due to the ilegal drugs has been the worst since President Calderón (right wing) declared war to the cartels in this land and most people have not idea of the death toll and the horror of it for we the 124+ millions of citizens that are holding this country. There was a time when I was about to leave my land along with my family yet it was just too expensive to do it.

Our culture is very open and so is our way of expressing. We are used to joke and some people might not understand our humor, normally we do critique everything and everyone kind of childish just no of consequence.

There are lots of migrants here from USA, Japan, China, Spain, Korean, Central America,..also Mennonites, Jews, etc and many of them have chosen Mexico as their home.

Mexico is a multicultural society with the law protecting human rights (in practice some gov are not doing a good job like in the south border), but citizens in general do respect everyone's rights.

How do you know that?
