I guess NMP trump got the memo about the huge mistake he made appointing Bannon to the NSC in the first place. Look at the pic of Bannon in the att link. Is that not the image of an alcoholic? He's got all the signs IMO
BTW Ping is going to eat trumps lunch when they meet.
Gotta hate misleading thread titles. Let's see what REALLY happened....
""Bannon originally served on the committee as a check against Michael Flynn before Flynn was ousted as National Security Advisor, a top White House official told NBC News. However, Bannon only attended one meeting and felt he was no longer needed in that role after the selection of H.R. McMaster as national security advisor.
A senior White House official told NBC this was not a power struggle. The official said the White House was bringing back more of a George W. Bush-era-type NSC. The council will be more streamlined and the decision making more deliberative, the official said.
The change adds Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, back to the committee. It also adds Energy Secretary Rick Perry, who controls the nation's nuclear arsenal.
CIA Director Mike Pompeo and Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley will also have spots on the principals committee.
Despite the move, Bannon retained his security clearance, NBC said.""
But hey, I guess the libs need to tell themselves whatever they want to make themselves feel good.... knowing their world is about to come crashing down when 'ol Neil Gorsuch gets confirmed to the Supreme Court...maybe as soon as tomorrow. The tears, they will be a-flowin'!
Apr 6, 2017 10:05 AM CST Steve Bannon fired from NSC

more streamlined more deliberative
Kinda like the streamlined and deliberate move George Bush made when he abandoned the fight in Afghanistan and stupidly blundered into invading Iraq?

But the misleading, (no, out right lie) is the very opening of your news report. Where did you get this from? BERITBARTS???! ...Does your report also include that Bannon and Trump's son-in-law are power fighting and Bannon said he was going to resign on yesterday, but has been talked into staying on by one of Trump's high paying donors? Didn't think so

Could someone please translate this rambling? I don't speak "Lib". The only part I understand is this....
SistaCallie: Where did you get this from? BERITBARTS???
....which is FRICKIN' HILARIOUS since it came from someone who went on and on and on and on about reading comprehension in another thread. So Sista....slow that heart rate down, lower that blood pressure...and go back and read...and COMPREHEND that part of my posted article, specifically the link that states where it comes from...CNBC.

I apologize for my misleading thread title, I should have sad his resignation was accepted. Isn't that what they say in the corporate world when an executive steps on his Richard?

Makes no difference , men like Bannon are alright around during an election when fast unmeasured decisions are needed , but the day to day work when mistakes affect more than just a campaign , better he go get ready for next election , Rudy another who suits the rough and tumble of election ,he seemed to enjoy getting his man elected . Bannon never much seen or spoke much in public like Rudy but you can bet your last chook he felt smug .

He resigned but he's still involved in Top Secret projects. When you see the news tonight you'll see that he was at the "war table" at Trump's Florida weekend retreat.
Bannon and Jared (Trump's son in law) fought quite a bit. So it didn't take much thinking to know who Trump would get rid of.

I did the same thing Ooby and the group got on me for it because the story was about a little girl being "mistreated".
I apologized but I think once you make an honest mistake on here you're not easily forgiven.
So, I would say to you, you're not alone so don't sweat it.
lindsyjones: Nothing as stupid as twisting anything to make them feel empowered. .lol..these are sick people Mac.
Yes they are, but they're your sick people..
“Susan Rice operationalized the N.S.C. during the last administration,” Mr. Bannon said in a statement, referring to President Barack Obama’s national security adviser. “I was put on the N.S.C. with General Flynn to ensure that it was de-operationalized."
Operationalization is thus the process of defining a fuzzy concept so as to make it clearly distinguishable, measurable, and understandable in terms of empirical observations.
De-operationalized is not a real word but in the Trump administration seems the task is to confuse facts and fiction... bigly..
