Starting last week, Photobucket changed its terms and membership structure, what once was free will now cost users a whopping $400 per year.
Photobucket website was founded in 2003 by Alex Welch and Darren Crystal and received funding from Trinity Ventures. It was acquired by Fox Interactive Media in 2007. In December 2009, Fox's parent company, News Corp, sold Photobucket to Seattle mobile imaging startup Ontela. Ontela then renamed itself Photobucket Inc. and continues to operate as Photobucket

There won't be to many takers at that price . If they want to close it they should just say . Plenty of places to save photo's . Wish I had stored more off my old laptop , since lost .
i backup better pictures on ur computer i backup on picasa (now google photos) go to the Google Photos website and sort from there. OR Search online for version 3 Picasa download make sure you locate version 3.9.0 (build 136.12.0 Windows 7) nothing later than that. At own risk you might try
Make sure you turn off Picasa update and or go with google pictures and back up you photo on google, I didn't like the idea of google pictures uploaded every single picture on my computer (hint I've 22,000 files in my pictures) anyway i am happy using Picasa version three is last version that you can stop updating to google pictures

Experience suggests all sorts of murphy's-law turns up and this or that may be will or maybe won't work, so what might appear as over kill in my opinion isn't really its minimum to my requirements....
Update on me vs the establishment. O.K. so yesterday after I accidentally set up a teleconference call union absent. Today they(company and wsib) tried to set up one with me at home with no notice or union representation. I was not home to take the call but I did get a call from the nurse from the sick pay(WI)people and had a good conversation. So I called WSIB and left a message. The good news is I looks like were getting organized finally?
Lilith10: Well I learned a good lesson today. You know those shiny new wood floors? Dont mop them and walk across them until they're dried
watch out!
Just want to also point out for those that may not know that it is Mean to get your cat to play fetch on a slippery floor. Hope your not to hurt Lilith.

Anyhow I made reference to not having Union representation and was told by WSIB that it was just a call and not on the record Anyhow they had a 45 minute conversation yesterday but we had a fairly long conversation today?(one Hour?) Anyhow Monday Morning is a Teleconference and All will be there. That is Progress
