I would surmise that the one country famous for interfering in other countries politics, couldn't see any benefit to themselves for getting involved, no oil in Korea.

My opinion of him us that he's a threat to my country and the whole of the West.
I have yet to hear from his people and maybe I'll Google ut. As far as I know there's no Korean member here who's going to provide that information.

Let me see if there's no insults on my being a retired University professor, or that of my being a humanitarian, as we speak.
So here's what I think.
US, is democratic, Korea is communist.
Second, there's always been tension going on against the two countries.
Third, my personal opinion is, Korea is always suspected as aggressively against the US and the West.
