Morphology of the teeth, brain, function of the gut, and desire to eat meat/fish/dairy etc... We can easily live without meat, in much the same way we can also live without arms or legs these days.

I like a good steak too, and bacon and more.
But to say vegetarians only eat 'greens' is nowhere near the truth. I have been served mushrooms that taste like steak, I cook a mean cauliflower and broccoli cheese and vegetarians often are more creative than us omnivores.
Whilst I would seriously struggle being a vegan, I could imagine not eating meat without too much of a lurch.
As for the argument about the flavour - vegetarians are not saying the flavour is wrong, but question the ethics and requirement of slaughtering animals. I know vegetarians who would eat 'meat' that was grown in a dish. It is the process of killing and the killing itself that abhors them, not the taste.

I can understand "vegertarians" to an extent.. They still eat cheese And eggs.. But Vegans? .. No

I have gone out for a meal with my vegan friend, and had a fabulous bean burger, with chips and roast veg and suffered no health problems as a result
