How many times do you have to say 'no' to someone? I know you can block people but I've been told they can still catch up with you on the threads so how do you get someone to understand 'no'?

I would not waste your time blocking them let you inbox fill up then delete the messages without opening them, This wastes there time and they still see the end result that there messages remained unopenedwine

Thank you Scouser, at first I thought I was over-reacting but something doesn't feel right and I don't like it when I get that sort of feeling about anyone. This person obviously has a problem because to most men - no thank you - means just that, so I will not name him publicly at this time but I will get in touch with CS if it continues.

Either that or liquorice comforts - the kids got some for xmas and I can't leave them alone - what a confession I've had to get them to hide their bags because I couldn't walk past them and we can't buy them locally so after they refused to sell them to me or swap for haribos we had to take drastic measures. They'd share them but I'm not satisfied with one or two - can you get 'comforts addition'?blushing

I will do, maybe chatting on here has helped - there wasn't any new messages this morning. He knows who he is and I would assume he reads the threads as alot of people do and don't put anything up. If it continues I will definately take some action.

Two letter word N O = No . Is that enough to make a person understand why they should not do something ? 'No' by itself has never been an effective deterrent . A 'No' is more effective if it is accompanied by explaining 'Why' . We are not all the same . Don't expect the same from everyone . Does 'NO' always mean 'NO' to yourself ? Work at it .

I couldn't have explained things more clearly after the word 'No' and yes in my vocabulary no does mean no. It never means maybe or go ahead and nag me I'll change my mind. No means purely what it says and I personally feel that any person who doesn't understand the meaning of 'No' shouldn't be sending messages to people in the first place! But that's just my opinion!
