After a day of high-level meetings, the men danced.
Before dinner, the Saudi monarch greeted U.S. President Donald Trump with a performance of ardha, the kingdom’s traditional–and all-male–sword dance.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross joined in, each brandishing a sword with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir between them.
Mr. Trump, who arrived a few minutes later, attempted some gentle swaying before the delegation headed to dinner. White House chief strategist Steve Bannon was there but couldn't be seen dancing, according to live footage broadcast on Saudi television.
