Tragic ... I suppose that any terrorist group seeking to create most impact and harm to the society it want's to destroy would always select exactly it's exactly that sort of soft target.
Sincere sympathies to all who have lost family and friends - mostly it's going to be Mums and Dads who've lost their children and young people who'll have lost their nearest and dearest friends ... prayers for them all.

I say let people chose what they want to believe in when they are old
enough to understand it better. Let's say at 16 or 18 years of age.

The fascists were half right about races and nations and that half right is Churchill and FDR. If National Socialism was wrong then international Capitalism is equally wrong in the other direction. Our position has become very extreme.

This has always been the British way. To forget the last 50/60/70 years and re-fashion the idea of a nobler and more prosperous time long ago. The future is based on the past in Britain and in hard times it's always been this way.
