If so how.

Some think wars are made to promote greed. Some say it is done to resolve conflict. I say, it's because evil and good exist.

Meantime many innocent lives are lost.

Question is, when it's going to end?

Anyone?

A very sad world we live in. I wish all is peaceful and calm.

Do you? wave

I think man is in the overdrive on causing humanity's breakdown.

Was it Einstein who said : "I know not what's used for 3rd world War, I do know, the next one after that is BROOM AND STICKS."

That's scary.sad flower

Is our destiny a matter of luck?

The reason I ask is, how lucky can I be to be where I am?

I do believe we as humans do have the ability to plan, direct and change our lives. If you can, where'd you be at this time?

Thanks for your read and input if any. bouquet

My condolences for the victim's , specially those whose lives were just recently been through the chaos and pain of terrorism. sad flower sad flowersad flower

I sure hope so.

I heard a saying once, I think it goes something like, 'taking the life of one innocent, is the death of all humanity'.

Yes, I like it Track.

It would mean that saving humanity is really quite simple.

It is. Change or become extinct. We are still growing up and unfortunately, our technological revolution is out pacing our evolution. We need to grow up as a species or we may end up destroying ourselves.

Leaders and/or representatives. Many are bad and only some are good. There are very real issues plaguing the world that they talk about. The actual depth and details we may never know.

What I see is that certain types keep vying for more power and control. It also seems to me they've decided extreme measures are now allowed towards that goal. Instead of being people, we're now being torn down and apart by race, religion, class, and any other scare tactic they can muster.

The obvious wrongs are dismissed, rationalized, pushed, and supported. Any thing that might hold a solid base; truth, ethics, and self accountability are continually being eroded away.

Things are being pushed as a problem with society instead of individuals. When individuals were holding themselves more accountable, independent, and other more ethical actions, society was actually pretty strong and over all supportive.

Do you think those leaders and representatives might possibly discuss the potential of a population problem vs. what we need to sustain it?

I'm more worried about the measures they will continue to take. They're at the top of the food chain(s) in human terms and levels. They certainly don't seem to collectively hold any actual reasoning or values as far as their respective constituents. Often, any more; maybe not even their own countries or territories.

Any radical actions now, governments, factions, activists, and more, aren't really any thing new. They're just more notably increased and wide spread. All this due to larger populations and better access to potential information with much better technology.

Since it's technically "us", as in the people, doing it to ourselves with large populations buying into those leaders and representatives showing the opposite of what they should be doing; Maybe in the long run, we don't need to be saved because the planet might enter into another phase of it's cycle after we've just about killed ourselves off.

Maybe we should be looking for a solar flare or extremely large comet for a quicker resolve all around.

Quite frankly, if humanity is going to be saved of our own accord, it's going to be the people more at the top of the food chain(s) that might ultimately be the ones making the call on who, when, and where in the long run.

I'm not seeing many silver linings at this point in the long run. There are a number of things expanding, being pushed, good and bad. The clock is ticking.

Is this?:

“Whoever kills a person …it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” (Qur’an, 5:32)

It's very curious how many people distorts the religion they learned.

Wow Guzman, what a teaching. So the hell is responsible in distorting it?

My suggestion us, take anything out that causes all tribulations. Kill all infidels would be the first, you agree? wave

In theory yes. Reality speaks differently. Why is that? Now that's the complicated question that spawns complicated explanation.

Yes. Killing or conversion is an unacceptable rule, no matter if is religious or politic. Some can't make a difference.
