Sometimes I just get kind of down-home, and don't think of the negative possibilities when talking to others, even on the computer. I am still perhaps a tad naïve. To as you to 'bear with me' is to to ask for patience ... often said by telephonist 'If you can just bear with me I'll put out a call for them...'
