I am traveling to America next year, I am a horsey gal and would to be shown around the country side whilst riding, I am not wanting to travel to the big cities , I am looking to learn as much about the country way of live there and bring some of that knowledge back home and maybe even share some things we do here in Australia, my 1st port of call is to a stud in California and would like to work my around to some other states, I would also like to go to a amish village to buy some saddlery . Utah is a must for me. i am also wanting to do some landscape, and architecture photography, so any kind of where I should visit would be welcome. thank you .
I'm kind of surprised nobody has responded to your thread yet. It's logical that you'll be starting your odyssey in California, you being from Australia. I'm sure there are a lot of horse people out west and you'll get your fill of western horse culture. The "Bluegrass" state, Kentucky is another hotbed of horse luv.
If you get to the east coast (Virginia) I have a friend who is into horses big time, she has an appaloosa and rides almost everyday. I have no doubt she could supply you with a horse to ride with her and show you all the great riding trails around here. She also worked for a saddlery store for years. She's in Montana at the moment on a month long tour of the west as I type this. Commonwealth Park (where Chris Reeves broke his neck) is about 60 miles from my house.

you have a stud in California? Try Denver Colorado for horsies. My bro and better half in Parker Co still have five quarter horsies roaming around out back. If you like forges there’s a lot of that talent out that way too.
Don’t forget to bring down hill or cross country skis if you visit Colorado. If you like country line-dancing you’ll like Colorado all the more.they make some fine but pricey western saddles and hats there too.

You can stop by Washington D.C. if you like. You might like to meet the Trump if I can get a good time slot. But bring some pepper spray and hide it in your purse. He can be very inappropriate .

Better stock up, Ralphie... we’ve got 11 more years of Trump priories ahead of us. Trump loves you and your money.
