I'm not a fan of the place, but to me that's disrespectful toward Maori culture to suggest this is a typical NZ native.

Kia ora

Absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to do with Maori culture ... he's a bogan who was out cold and pranked on by his stupid brother.

That it happened at all probably says more about SERCO (British prison operator contracted to NZ Government) and their acknowledged low performance standards ( as evidenced by 'Fight Club' not to mention death and suicides inside jail ... oh aye and the ready availability of copious amounts of homebrew ) That job must have taken many hours ... and there was not one single prison officer who noticed? That's the REAL STORY but easier to pick on one munter ?

Authentic Maori face tattoos or 'ta moko' in conjunction with body art, tell the story of the man's life ... nothing at all to do with drunk trash as illustrated here!

Haere mae

thumbs up That first sentence got me laughing for 10 minutes. I'm learning so many new words from you it's amazing. As if Bogan wasn't enough, now I got Wazzock to explore. How can I thank you for the language lessons? I know, if you're ever in the US, please try to get to Virginia and let me buy you a beer.

mmm, things have certainly moved on since my modest 14 years of NZ prehistory/history research ...l would love to know what the competent New Zealand historian/author Michael King would have to say today in 2017 ...but he is deceased.

If the reader wants to have a poke around in the gigantic controversy that is brewing, nowadays, about New Zealand settlement by humans, try this on Facebook ...Nz-Skeletons in the Cupboard. Documentary Series ...l am reminded of the "spanish incident" when a genuine conquistador helmet was dredged-up in Wellington Harbour, they have been trying to explain the red hair inherited by some southern maori for a long, long time .......barf help

I don't know what a munter is confused but what everyone is forgetting dunno is what goes around comes around >>> Aggravated burglary is burglary committed with an aggravating element. The aggravating feature is either that at the time of entering the building or part of the building:

The person has any firearm, imitation firearm, weapon, explosive or imitation explosive; or
The person knew or should have known that someone was present

How would you react with a bogan in your home while your kids/wife/mother are sleeping confused he made a choice... and like said conversing the tattoo would have taken a hell of a lot more time to do than a day professor

Does he deserve a second chance?

Maybe ask the peeps that he robbed dunno

They should be the ones to decide his fate in life. whether to forgive or not dunno

What do ya think?

Can't say I have the remotest notion of how your rambling is relevant to my post ... but if you're asking

'Do I think prison was the right place for him to be ?'

The only possible answer is 'Hell YES of course!'

cheers

Usually Friday nights after a great deal of beer ... and invariably it leads to an Oath of Temperance on the part of the bloke!

Until the next time ...
