I can't help but truly at awe with the over driven confidence of this country to fire a missile and start a most unwanted war between them and us?

What is truly behind his colossal effort of initiating all these havoc? What does he have to gain and what will it cost him?

More importantly, how will the world react? Will there be a defined division of those who will support NK as well as the US? Which country are those that will be for them and for us?

Anyone?

1/ Korean's can be fanatics with tunnel vision ...mass delusions, blind faith, they are believers, complete total commitment at any cost ...l was married to one of them, crazy woman, ggrrr
2/ The WAR never officially ended, it was not won or lost ...we don't want war, but they want war.
3/ He doesn't care what it costs him or the korean people ...collective insanity.
4/ Yes, a lot of people have already chosen their side, there is already a defined division.
5/ The outcome will hinge on what action China takes or does not take

l cannot see how ultimately this is going to end well, but that's my 2cents worth.

China won't get involved, they know NK will destroy itself, the frightening thing is leaving it to the USA military, they can't even steer ships in peacetime let alone under pressure of warroll eyes

Those words have a familiar ring to them, now when did I hear those words before?
Oh yeah, now I remember, it was during the "Mushroom Cloud" speech by that Dolt, Georgie boy Bush lying to the world about WMD's to justify invading Iraq.

Isn't it funny how after leaving the fight in Afghanistan unfinished at the perfect moment while we had the opportunity and the boots on the ground to wipe out, not only the Taliban, but all the Poppy fields in Afghanistan so we wouldn't be in an Opioid epidemic today?

I think it goes far beyond NK...A few are saying (and I tend to believe) that an event will occur and we will blame it on NK, and then we will strike. It will pull other countries into the conflict that I believe will turn into all out war (igniting other lit fuses about the world). An economic collapse may follow giving way to the plans that have been in place for a long time. May sound odd or some may have already heard this or believe it. The point is...don't be deceived by looking where they want you to look and not seeing the slight of hand going on peripherally....sigh

I never had them down as believers and I always found orientals to be a race of two faces with a staggering contrast between public and private face. It doesn't matter at all that they don't believe in anything they do, every individual is a means to a collective end.

Really...????
Be a little more definitive. I lived in South Korea for a while during the time Pyongyang sent that missile to that northern South Korean island. While the world was going crazy, South Korean life went on as usual. They are used to the conflict. However, they are NOT crazy. North Koreans who have escaped the terrible life in NK, and end up in Seoul usually end up back in NK trying to help others escape. They can't resolve themselves to live a cushy modern life while others are suffering. If that be crazy, then let us all have a bit of that crazy.. doh

Are you for real? You and your side is the biggest blamer of everybody else on the planet. You do it all the time blaming everything on Obama or Hillary or Bill or George Soros, or Antifa, Liberals, Democrats etc etc.
The guy I was quoting was even blaming Obama calling him prez isis.
It's a well known Con job technique to blame the other side for exactly what you yourself are doing.

It sounds like about right.
Maybe the intention is to stage this conflict and then an all out war ensues.

The thing that scares me is the way people seem to be talking about a nuclear war as though they wont be affected by it at all. The sad truth is that nobody will be unscathed. If people think that just because they may not be located in S.Korea or Guam or N.Korea they have nothing to worry about. The truth is the entire world will bear the scars of even a limited war using Atomic bombs. It will devastate the world economy, The Stock Market will tank like at the start of the Great Depression. China will probably dump all their US treasury bonds on the open market, the dollar will become little more than toilet paper. Food production will drop to near zero and people will starve to death on a global scale. Crime will escalate as the police become overwhelmed. The courts will cease to function due to the scale of the problem and alternate forms of justice will emerge. Russia will probably turn off the gas line to Europe to preserve their stockpiles for themselves. OPEC will do the same. Mass migrations will begin at an unprecedented rate. Hoarding food, clean water and fuel will be rampant.
