equiya: So what do you call someone who 'presents' a program on TV? A TV ANCHOR? And I mean not just a Talk Show host or a News Reader.
I had to google that question and find wikipedia's explanation: 'A presenter is a person who introduces or hosts television programs (or segments thereof such as an infomercial advertiser).'

mollybaby: Some people don't understand the concept of this being an international site, and that nobody knows who they are talking about.
It's the same when Americans put up something about a politician. Most other people have no idea who they are talking about.
Thank you. The first point you raise is why I ask frequent questions and use the dude often. it's not been out of disrespect It's just curiosity, mostly. And I usually have to google or use the on-line urban dictionary and google most things Jac posts on CS too.

What does this banning action mean? Was my question inappropriate, was it bad taste or bad timing in someone's opinion.
Does the op of that thread not like me. He's also banned me before in a 'say anything thread.'
I never heard of this television presenter. I don't know what a television presenter is. I never heard the term before. I was just asking questions.
Is it wrong to ask related questions as in this case to learn more about this beloved character's life and stuff?
