Its always sad and unfortunate when somebody dies. I guess a lot of guys here are really feeling it... But do we really need several threads about it? I have no idea who he was , so you might as well have 15 threads about Mavis Smith from number 73 who died aged 92.

Thank you for the explanation why he was knighted. Wasn't Paul McCartney nighted also? Though I don't recall anyone referring to Paul as Sir Paul McCartney.
