Unrealistic expectations can cause a person to be single forever.
If a man that looks like a 5 wants a woman who is a 10 and he is not filthy rich, chances are he will die single.
Is television and magazines guilty of creating in a man's mind and impossible ideal of what women should look like? Does the average Joe think he is entitled to a hot woman just because he is there?

ENTITLED is the key word here. The US abounds in people - men and women - who feel they are entitled to the good life. They stand in awe of the billionaire class, buy lottery tickets by the score and invest in expensive cars and phones. They do this knowing their time is coming. It doesn't help con artists like Donald Trump are there reinforcing these false hopes.

Ok, I was in Lexington recently and it's not a party mile.
Having said that, there are a couple of nice places to head out. Seeing that you have kids, try some family activities locally and see if you can meet some other single parents.
Or do the Bourbon trail and see where it gets you.
