Well i always go for option three here! I ended up having the best relationship with a girl who didn't meet my expectations on a blind date! We ended up talking and laughing for hours!

One2note: If you were to go on a blind date & the person didn't meet your expectations, what would you do.
1: run as fast as you can, hoping they never spotted you ?
2: meet them for a quick coffee or drink & make your excuses & leave at the first available opportunity?
3: stay & finish the date out of politeness, or
4: drink as much alcohol as possible, in the hope that they may become attractive ?

I don't think a first meet is really 'a date' so, generally it would be planned as a coffee meet and that more or less implies some degree of brevity ?
If it goes well though there's option of running it on over into lunch or an early dinner ...
