Innocentia00122: I don´t find that most of the population could be labelled as disordered. And I do not know anything about other disorders. Only about that one.
I will never understand people who judge others so quickly or compare people or use generalizations. Everybody has his or her own story of life. You can never know why a person is like this or that. And when someone tells me things about myself who doesn´t know me, I think he or she has a small view on the whole world.
"Sneaky" I had to look up in the dictionary. How life is with someone with that disorder (and you are not aware of it while you live with that person), what happens to you, that is very good explained in that "Sneaky things" article. There are so many little things that are so bad. This sneakiness has nothing to do with wanting to find out how far you can go. A narcissist was long before exactly as bad as he is at that point when you meet him. And he is the same when you leave him. No progression, no regression, no changes. You can only go away.

I put up this thread for people to discuss only if they wanted to , and some have done a very good job at
explaining it ,,from experience, which is the important way of doing it , IMO

I'm sorry that you feel that way about the post ... " the way I wrote it " I intended and DID I gave you full credit for your opening statements concerning recent reading and went on to make observations.

And Like I said at the start before you were hijacked - I take the mick BUT If I thought I offended you or anyone I would apologize if they supply the actual proof. ---- BUT as I see it on these forums, anyone can pick on and read Narcissism or whatever they want into any innocuously intended Comment.

I just remembered that a psychologist once said that it is the best when someone with an unaware narcissistic disorder comes to a psychologist because of something different, and along that the psychologist can try to talk about the narcissism. But he said, too, that it is actually impossible because while sitting together the narcissist sees the psychologist also only as a source of supply (and if it is through that the narcissist says to the psychologist "no, you don´t understand what I mean. I know better than you").

Yes this is true , and it is difficult to put points forward when the person is in denial
