Read his 'Farewell Speech' and you'll se he's been conspicuously ignored ever since, in fact it's to the state now that EVERY intelligent comment he made there is now seen as 'the reverse' in US Domestic and Foreign Plicy.
It surprises me that Trump is getting himself so deeply involved in other people's affairs when he has still so much to achieve at home?

Drones are being used all over. Even terrorist factions have been utilizing drones we might generally use for personal entertainment and sport.
I wonder who's writing this script some times. New movie in the making: "Earth Wars: The Drone Wars".
I often dread the thought that many things have been fed and allowed to escalate beyond any type of control with in a reasonable period of time.
The current question I have, concerns, how much worse will it become before it fully starts to better.
Many fail to realize that, unless you literally destroy every thing, there is little to zero chance of winning a war or major battle, with air strikes alone. There would still be ground "clean up" required to fully secure the area.

Duterte ... I don't know enough ... but look at TV Westerns ... towns folk would hire a bounty hunter to clean up the town and then turn against him even though the methods were outlined before the contract was accepted !
