With all the extreme weather for the last decade or so, I would say it's because of global warming climate change, however, Trump and the Republicans tell me that there is no such thing !!! I guess it is all just coincidence. . . . . .

While global warming may have an element of truth, the real facts are often hidden, it is a fact, proven without any doubts, that the earth has weather cycles, the Romans grew grapes in the UK, it would have been impossible in the 17th and 18th centuries due to the coldness, in the 14th and 15th centuries the Thames river froze over, so the weather moves in cycles one hot, one cold and therefore all temperatures in between.
Does man have some influence on these cycles? That is a different question, mankind would be somewhat arrogant to think he can change mother nature. But certain pollutants and polluting must indeed have some effect on climate, possibly speeding up a very natural process.
