School funding is at it's all time low, meaning less teachers per child!
University fees have multiplied in recent years!
Housing association accommodation waiting lists for British citizens has become almost impossible to obtain, with priority given to "emergency refugee immigrants"

The greed & power struggle by "first world" governments, to achieve world domination, mean that less resources are spent on it's citizens.
They brain wash us into believing that "self defence" is a important part of our security, but in essence, our standard of living suffers as a result!

Hm. Not so simple as that but of course it's correct in the final analysis. But why is everything so cheap to import from China? Partly because the army keeps the trade routes open and people alive today take out debt on their children to keep these links open and prices low. Military might inflates the standard of living if you're in the right place at the right time and if you're old and in Britain and America that's definitely you.

I payed for my daughters uni fees , which went up from £2,000 per year - 9,000 in one hit.
I pay for private Heath insurance because the poor standard of our NHS.
Council tax has risen dramatically on recent years.
All extra expenditure that have risen over the past years , which have curtailed my plans for early retirement

I have already. A basic income scheme with a village reconstruction project, offer people a way out of the slums and Grenfells and wherever and into the countryside away from the traps of landlords where they use basic income as effective start-up capital for the local economy they work in. The economy is dickensian today poverty doesn't only affect bad boys and people who've made every mistake in life, a lot of people need a bit more money they're not all personal inadequates and emotional wrecks that need to be told they're special and important.

I'm not clear about what you're saying.
Perhaps you can run through what the scheme does for an individual - how basic is the income, what do they do to earn it, how do they come to move to the countryside, eduction, qualifications, what work opportunities are available to them after the scheme including transport access to where work is - things like that.

Why shouldn't he pay for university fees if he can afford it?
If his daughter wants a 4-bedroom house in a nice area, let her save up for it. She is one of the lucky ones who has had a good education and a good job.
Not everybody is that lucky.
Whether through being born where they were born, or into poverty, or whatever.
Everybody deserves a basic standard of living.
The better the overall standard of living in our countries, and in the world at large, the better off we all will be.
The same people who complain about billions being spent on housing and education for emigrants are surprisingly quiet when it comes to the billions being spent on the arms which bomb them out of their own homelands.
