CherryBomb_: Isn't the phrase when life gives you lemons made lemonade

???

I find that an insulting expressions. it is like make the best of what you got.
Like you can try harder or be more optimistic.
I really think some people struggle also because of this changing world.

Why be miserable in the city if you could herd sheep on the countryside.
or vice versa.

People don't drown because they fall in the water, it is because they stay there.

I myself coined the phrase : ''If life gives you lemons, make me a lemon pie''

Now I don't think people who drown wanted to stay there, they could have been paralized with fear and unable to help themselves. That's why we should look for signs of distress and provide help if we can.

:)
