What does it mean to you?

My take on it is:

"When you stay up all night with a sick child, or a healthy adult"!

So, what have you learnt about past relationships?

Without sounding too cynical, I believe that "whoever loves the least, controls the relationship"

To me it means that i care to the utmost for the people i love,

My parents,, my children, and a few cherished friends,some of which are family , and family.


Will do the same for any potential partner i might have in the future,,, but he will have to be

a diamond.

.......Definitely different scenarios I think......(apart from their personal life) revolves around their children because they are 50/50 part of both of them.......as the saying goes 'a parent's happiness depends, at any given time, on the happiness of their saddest child'....... As regards adults......up to ourselves to know that the person we are with will also be there when difficult situations arise.....a different type of love........jmo

Maybe a word of unsolicited advice if it's OK.

When u start a thread asking an opinion on a certain topic especially when it's to do with a personal issue and ur asking plp to tell u their own personal stories, it would be an idea if u always begin with giving ur own story first.

As not doing so in the past has lead to a thread topic about OP's looking for information off plp on here for their own personal gain/use.

Only looking out for ur best interest.

Simplified for brevity mine are regarded as old fashioned views and disciplines -
If I tell a woman I love her & she says she loves me & we are together ---
*unconditional* means through sickness & in health, wealth, poverty, rain or shine.
If we marry - it is the same as the registry office words and till death us do part.

......well Dee dee......my opinion is that I have seen lots of threads on here in which people ask opinions on different subjects......I see absolutely nothing wrong with the OP s thread......I have actually seen a completeb ack of understanding when he writes threads that are, obviously, just humorous....... and a lot of yee cannot see through that.....anyway.... he cannot win.......so even with a serious thread......he is still thought bad of.....I understand that you are only new here but a little research on who the real nasty people on here are might be a good idea.......jmo and wish you the best....

I wonder will we ever know anyone on here really OgGoDeo it's kind of a mind field at times.
I'm not a stubborn person I'm always willing to give 2nd 3rd 4th chances...as I wud like in return.
Believe me ur not the first person who has said the nice r not so nice and vice versa.
I guess I will find out in time ..I'm never going to meet anyone from here and my life is not affected by anyone from here so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt I think
I do enjoy some of the threads and the light hearted humour..some really side splittingly funny plp here
And I'm also here to learn too so long may those two things continue.
