Right-wing lies are less sophisticated and its traits are confidence, endurance, loyalty and fanaticism. Everything is fine, do not question otherwise, obey your masters. That's what the right is. The left brings science and doubt and scepticism and worry and thinking for yourself into the whole affair, the left tends to assume and ask too much of humanity treating people as less selfish, more intelligent and capable of the truth than they really are.

But fascism growing out of communism is an accident and the leader coming after the current leader is not necessarily a fascist. In fascism and Trump the design is to give up thinking for yourself, If Trump takes over wholly and then dies the deputy fuhrer steps into the role as fuhrer there's no earnest self-reflection about how wrong things have gone we need to desperately change things, that won't happen authoritarianism by design is different and more dangerous.
Of course for the moment fascism lies not so much in censorship, but capitalising on confusion by destroying all credible sources of information(i.e. fake news)and labelling all dissent which doesn't further their own cause as treason(the NFL protests).

What fascists do is see this situation where people are confused, humiliated and arrogant in that way which being an insecure loser can make you(big ego, no self-esteem), and swoops in on this with easy answers and a lot of dumb optimism. Boris Johnson is doing it now.

You can tell the EU is left-dictatorial by looking what's happening in Catalonia. If the EU was authoritarian by design supported by the same personality type as Trump there would already be an EU army alongside the Guardia Civil beating defenceless people for voting. The brutality would be much more severe and the lies told to justify the violence more blatant; everything requires a lower standard of proof in fascism, strongmen and the philosophy of action, it's never meant to be cautious or sceptical and that's why the most profound atrocities in history come from the right.

It's Franco's old forces that do the actual beating, Spaniards are fascist in soul. The EU turns a blind eye whilst Rajoy declares the vote unconstitutional and against the law. Lefties have an inherent difficulty going along with this as the main point of left-wing morality is to violate law & order in the name of the common good.

Both are crap. Which ever has the majority lies the most at the time.
Politics and government involvement in so much that they shouldn't even be involved in.
The U.S. should remove all of them and start over but it's just another impossible dream. Would love the liberal lunacy then. The U.S. might end up with the most insane asylum confinements instead of criminal incarcerations.
They can have their safe spaces with nice new jackets and shiny buckles.
