Mad men was recommended to me by many and has a high rating on IMDB.. not sure why I never got around to watching it.. I still have it on my list though..
If you like science fiction you should definitely watch 11.22.63 and Stranger Things. Both are brilliant shows.
Game of Thrones is pretty much a given.. absolutely spectacular show!
First time I'm hearing of Orphan Black.. the story sounds interesting.. this goes in my list too!

Lots of well done shows out there...The Handmaids Tale series is very good...dystopian and dark...
Love Dr. Who as well...and then there is the Australian women prison tv series called Wentworth...very well done...a more darker show than Orange Is The New Black...all worth watching...
I am currently watching Shameless...the American version...the original was set in England...raunchy and funny...

I never liked Curb your Enthusiasm though, nor Seinfeld.
I don't know why I put the 2 of those together, but I have the feeling that the same people would like both
