So a guy I had a couple of moments with some years ago knocks on my door this afternoon roll eyes

Fortunately my son answered, I was out the back giving the dog a haircut and said Tell him I'm not here

Obviously he'd had a Random Thought laugh

Indeed. I don't believe that is the intent though.

I'm not a fan of proponents on here conversing

It's a free market, I find patting people on the head and trying to find some kind of middle ground patronising.

serene56: It might pay to consider, though, that when it comes to the internet, some people get their jollies by ruffling feathers hence trying to reason with them is pointless.

LeeCharming is a classic example, as is Rainbow - they've both been around for donkeys under various other usernames and enjoy nothing more than rattling people's cages and getting a response
Most certainly noted and agreed thumbs up

I think you and I got off on the wrong foot. But I think you understand behaviour as much as I do.

I've come to think there's room for mistakes as far as sizing people up on here (hopefully), I've made loads, which I regret, but it's great when we can forgive and forget eh conversing

The good thing about a fair fight is the humbling. After the second world war people could compromise without finding it patronising because they’ve proved themselves already. The egotism of peace and comfort is always trying to prove itself and there you find the baby boomer tribalists which seed the war and the eventual coming back down to earth.

Chesney, your timing is perfect. I can understand now why you rarely engage.
