Not sure why anyone would be scared of meeting a date, they are very healthy. Unless they are the ones with the pip, that can really hurt when you bite one and not expecting a hard stone inside.

I'm lucky in that I have never met a weirdo on a date (touches wood)
I think it is because i insist on chatting to them for so long beforehand that any potential weirdo would have given up the ghost by the time we eventually meet
