Per Google:- People are flaky (also spelled flakey) if they are wacky and unconventional, but to say someone is flaky is not really a compliment. If you want to buffer the blow of calling your friend an odd-ball, don't say she's flaky — say she's eccentric.
Yes, a girlfriend of a very, very eccentric ex-friend asked me what was the problem with her bed-buddy ...so l told her the truth, that he is "eccentric" ...of course, being jealous, she told him & being eccentric, he was deeply offended and that was the end of that long-standing friendship

Freedomofspeech9: It's a term used a lot in dating and when men say it, when have been given the run around by a woman I'm pretty sure there are much harsher words that could be used and women use them when men give them the run around, so it is what it is
I have never come across the term in dating, but then again ur in a different country ?
flakey A person who uses inaccurate excuses to mask their non appearance to events, person who says one thing but does another....commonly known as a lie but does it so often their personality is considered flakey. Someone is flakey if for instance they are leaving town on a certain date to gain attention then keeps posting different dates on their online profiles and telling you different information all the time. Someone who says they want to do one thing then randomly changes their mind for no apparent reason.
This above explanation is a fabrication from ur mind !
