Nukes made us all think a lot more like women, it took mano o mano right off the table. And although there is an underlying nature to humanity there is great variation created by life experience and these seem to come in stages and cycles - for example there's less that separates Baby Boomers from Victorians/Dickensians than connects either of them to the greatest generation.

Anyway, women and womanliness is in part the reason why we send fewer sons off to die in war, but experience is the greatest determining factor in human character, not biology.

In a natural, lazy and default state you're unlikely to see how anyone could be different. If all your experiences in life were trivial how could you be anything but small and twatty? There is this default human character which chiefly imo comes from no experience or the most convenient of experiences in life.

Some individuals and generations have to leave their comfort zone whilst others fester in monotomous drudge and enfeebling distractions, this is the change.

And as morally and intellectually bankrupt as Trumpism is this is merely the last hurrah of the weakest generation where all imagination and creativity is dead. But future generations may be improved by this massive burden of old dead people which brings great harm because it eradicates complacency. The drawing up of the ladder and creating an uber-comfort zone for the old at the expense of posterity will be what forces the hand and ingenuity of the young.

I also believe women will play a large role - greater than ever before - in this comeback of ingenuity. For all the faults of feminism it is western men who have sunk to the worst version of themselves these last 47 years. Women are protected innately by what I think of as safer averageness, where men have utterly degenerated throughout this time the character of women has been moderated and their maturity somewhat retained by being the ones to raise the kids. Family and sociability was their anchor which kept them on the rails where the momentum of the degenerate, dysfunctional and the dead expressed by Trump is predominantly male.
