Not scared of them, frustrated at times sure... I hate getting a new phone and having to work out how to use it, and I've always got the same awesome Korean brand.

If everyone knew all about computers, people like me, would not be needed anymore.
Even I get frustrated with them, specially right after an upgrade.
Computers r the future
We had better all become humanoid friendly and fast.
Geeks will always be needed. More and more things are computerised, like TV's etc and even the fridges are now. Its like car mechanics, plenty of us are more than capable of doing an oil change and service, but would choose to leave it to somebody else.

I really don't see myself as a geek, we just speak more languages than the rest of humanity, which most of the rest have no idea where to even get the concept of talking to a computer.
My sister said computers r easy, so tried to learn programming. The two did not agree with each other, as u have to understand and have the right frame of mind.

ChesneyChrist: In a way, yes they do. Unless you can design and maintain technology your job will be attention-seeking, all non-geek economy will revolve around attention-seeking and everyone who isn't a geek has to successfully convince the geeks to pay for it.
How can u twist and turn everything, u have no knowledge of, and then think "U'r very clever"

The scary question is what can you do that a computer never will do? The horrible answer is seek-attention or something equally disgusting like care about people's personal problems.

Similar here ..... i have had a Galaxy Tablet for approx 1 year now on a 2year contract. I don't know how to drive the bar stud so it is sitting in my drawer collecting dust, and will be for another 1 year until the contract is up. Learning how to operate a computer is no different from learning to ride a bike really. can be a bit scary at the start, but a little practice and your up and away. That said, I've met people who are "terrified" of computers. It's a simple technological challenge they're just not wired for.
For me, a computer is an essential work (and play) tool. I can't figure out why some people are scared of a tool that's so life-altering in such a positive way.

Everyone will sit infront of their computers, day in and out.
We're loosing our identity, and r becoming just a number, in statistics, if u stand out, that is ?
