jac_the_gripper: And research papers have more credibility than books at those levels of education. I found there's a lot of papers in pdf format which can be found with a little googling and don't involve paying subscription fees to journals.

Like any feed back ... it only works if it;s sought or welcomed by the recipient.
If it isn't sought or welcomed then the recipient will tend yo become defensive, aggressive or even hostile ... you don;t need research papers to see these things ... just eyes and more than half yer wits turned on ;-)
pedro27: Just like 'Truth', people have a hard time handling constructive criticism. Go about it with class and common sense. Ask them if you can offer some constructive criticism...if you know them at all then you should be cognizant of how they feel about any kind of criticism. I would say criticizing and advice aren't the same. That said...I wish constructive criticism could be amicably received, because it is more often than not offered for good reason. P.S. I did not Google this...like Ccincy, this is coming from life lessons,
MikeD12: Yes & as Google is used to access Wikipedia in almost 80% of students cases, the same rule I quoted applies. Googelis NOT king - When I did my two we were warned to use actual BOOKS and not to rely on the internet.
