stephenbadger: l've lived next to a large, big city park/reserve/sea estuary since 1985 ...an incident occurs about once a month.
lt's raining, early last night, l spotted a big hairy ape parked-up in his car, a red hatchback, near my house bashing a slim, young long-haired blond woman about 20yrs old with his fists ...lot of yelling, the windows were closed & steamed up ...maybe he realised l had sussed what was going down, because he did a runner ...he kept his head turned away from me, towards the woman's body in his front passenger seat, as he drove past my property fence ...l got his car registration number, lol ...l watched which direction he drove in ...l used my gardeners mobile phone, dialled 111 & gave him up to our fascist police who will have tracked him down, probably within a few minutes or so.
l have no sympathy for money-scammers & nasty foul-mouthed, bad tempered women who deserve whatever fate throws at them, BUT arseholes using my cul-de-sac street as a location to burn stolen cars, dump rubbish & unwanted animals/women and carry out violent assaults on members of the public, are a no no for me, ggrrr
Oh well, the pigs are trying to contact me on my mobile phone, sooo they must be wanting a statement & maybe l will have to risk my life testifying, as a witness in the High Court in the city ...the police wont lift a finger to protect me, it's not part of their service, ggrrr

Last time I called the cops to a domestic dispute-
I heard yelling, furniture crashing, and a woman runs outside with ripped clothes. I yell out, do you want me to call the cops?...Call the effin' cops! she screams... So I call, and describe the situation. I couldnt see a street number for the address, but I could describe behind the masonic hall on such and such street, next to the phone box, next to the address I could see. But they keep saying they need a street number. They ask me if the people are Aborigines, I dont know how they identify themselves. They ask me if alcohol is involved, I don't know but probably. They ask if the guy has a weapon, I dont know. They ask if I'd go over and have a look to see if he has a weapon, no that would be your job... Being right in the middle of Cairns, a van full of cops screetches to a halt, nearly running my foot over, a few minutes later. They jump out acting like its me they need to arrest, I quickly explain I'm the guy still on the phone to them. Another police car arrives, and about half a dozen of them head in to the place next door to the action. I'm still there pointing at the place where the woman was. The police go in there, I slip away quietly, after pointing out a defective headlight on their van....
But on the positive side, if somebody drives a few K's over the speed limit, the police are right on to it.

haha! a few days ago, my gardener pulled over to answer a mobile phone call from the person he was driving over to visit, same time & day every week ...pointless ph-call over, he drove on again, straight past a speed camera ...about 1 K over the limit, $80 Fine ...instant justice !!
