You know I've liked his music ever since I was young, but it wasn't until this past year that I learned that he once had a terrible heroin addiction. I dunno why, but for some reason I had always thought that he was a straight-laced kinda guy, but nope.. a druggie just like the rest of 'em.

Yes, I like James Taylor. I love all kinds of music but for relaxing with some easy listening, he is one of them. I'm with Paws also, I love Carly Simon and, yes, he did do drugs but when he was young and impressionable, like many. In his case, it was more a sign of the times rather than being too young and having too much too soon, like today. But he has worked hard to come through it and you have to commend the man for that. He is a superb songwriter and singer, his "Sweet Baby James" is particularly poignant for me, but I can't tell why................!

Yes JT is the man. Defenitly one of the best male vocalists ever. Any time a musician can put on an entire concert with nothing but an acustic guitar, a mic and a stool he is a BMF.
