As a divorced male in my early fifties & having had my child reletavely early, what choices are available for me, when it comes to finding a partner?
Most women my age come with baggage, meaning, children living at home, or ex husbands lurking in the background !
Now considering most women are settled down at my age, what choices do I have, other than to date women either, considerably older, or younger .
Anyone else in the same predicament?wave

Just for the record, I don't want to father any more children, nor rear anyone else's either!

I don't tend to over think it,, i go with the flow,

nobody knows what's around the corner for them.

Things happen when you least expect it, everything can't be set in stone

That's my opinion .peace

I don't agree.
Most older gents & ladies are rid of any children.
Don't get me wrong, I love children, but I love them better when they go home with their parents. laugh

Not sure about that,,, plenty free women out there , as in

have not got their children living with them.

also plenty ,i'm sure without baggage...

The younger you go ,the more things to be considered.

they might want to have a child with you etc.

I'm surprised women your age still have children to consider confused

At the very least they would be adults surely, and even if they're still living at home they should have no bearing on their parent's dating/romantic prospects.

Ex-partners need to take a hike but often that's the fault of the other not being concise in saying IT'S OVER, GO AWAY

Other than that I guess you're experiencing the same issues that most mature-age people do which is why dating sites are loaded with lonely but hopeful seniors

Good luck with it anyway, your perseverance is admirable

Date unsettled women.

If you mean that your choices are limited because your dating pool is limited, so is everybody else's. Everyone has their preferences that limit their options. You either widen your horizons or low your expectations. And how many women do you need / can manage anyway. At your age.

I thought that also, but in this day and age, where women are choosing careers over motherhood, most women are giving birth well into their thirties & even forties!

I hear Obama’s going to be there soon, whenever price Harry ties his jewels down.. Maybe you can confab with him then about all this. His wife Michael would probably like to meet you too.
