Feeding the birds. Crows, magpies, Quails and the little ones.......
Now that we have so much snow I bought bird food for them, as I do every year .
Two ducks and that one little bird that have come to the house,
is not telling others of his find of food here as it still comes alone.
Also save fat, skin etc. for the crows.
They remember my face and car too, I love them as they are very smart

My little “eating machine” kitten “Sandy” just loves the entertainment.
Watching the show she does not move a muscle, at times her tail given her away.
This cat loves oatmeal, apple sauce and many other foods besides cat food.
She knows when she can have her snack and comes to tell me so I won’t forget.
Twice a day she get soft food added to her dry food ...............
She now rolls over like a dog when I ask her, she loves the attention..rolling on the floor laughing

wave wave wave

britishcolumbian: Hi Anna that is a lot of variaty you got there.
Robins we get not until about April-May would love to have a bird that is so trusting to
eat out of your hand.
Someone in the US found a baby sparrow and raised it. I would talk to her. Wow

I tried to have it feed out of my hand for a while.

Then i was so happy when he did, and after that did it every day.

I love it.

We're getting our native crows re-introduced to Hawaii!

But I have too many cats to feed birds...

My cats finally learned that I won't feed them, if they catch my birds; and they can't come home for awhile...

They're welcome to kill rats though.

I make porridge out of the oatmeal for the dogs in the winter. They love it.

I have nuts and seeds out for the wild birds too. I have a robin around at the moment. too. They are such cheeky little things. No fear whatsoever.
My dad has one that flies into the house every day, just to have a nose around. laugh

My father's Grandfather in the wintertime used to put out bird houses along with food for the birds and food out for the deer and I saw pictures of all the wildlife that would come into his yard.
