I feel compelled to carry on the customary practice of foresightedness practised by my family for generations.
So without further Delay

I personally think that the type of fanaticism and exploration of hallucinogenics is a type of double emotional crutch. A placebo religion supported by addiction.
An addiction enabled by belief. the perfect cocktail for people longing to escape reality.

It sounds like an interesting film with 2 totally different characters. I know more of Timothy Leary than the other fella.

There is a picture of Timothy in my favourite pub, so as I drink, i am looking at his face. He had an amazing face. It told of a life which had lived some life! cool

Thank you both joy

I agree Non, what you wrote are exactly my thoughts, they were unknown for me before yesterday and have spent a day reading about them ....I´m not interested in their "philosophy" (anything that does not includes reality-consciousness doesn´t work for me) but very much in the social role they both have represented as influencers for so long ....and also how they reached that point being Harvard academics. Curiouser & Curiouser cool

Yeah Molly it seems both of them have had a life beyond ordinary lives tinfoil hat , you gonna love this: Ram Dass real name is Richard Alpert *, rings a bell? a Lost character, a member of The Others, the native inhabitants of the island, living on it before the DHARMA Initiative came. .... LOL! that serie was just too much! thinking about read biographies of its creators.

I´m having a good time playing Sherlock by my own. Smooches! have a good day U2 wave

This is for you Non: * Richard Alpert was a Spaniard known as Ricardo who lived in the Canary Islands with his wife HAHAHAHAHAHAHA uh oh
