serene56: Ebooks are only a tiny percentage of the market Snooks they haven't taken the world by storm just yet, seems most still prefer a good hard copy in their hand
I'm a voracious reader, travelogs, biographies, memoirs, true crime ... nonfiction only
And I spent a good part of NYE day at a local art gallery, enjoying an exhibition of artworks by two renouned Australian painters followed by a delicious vegetarian Thai lunch, happy days
Serene u r a person so close to my heart.
I am mainly on hard copy, but have a kindle. U can imagine I would have been one of the first to buy one, but it has lost it's interest because the scanned books have lots of errors and u have to guess what is actually meant. Not my cup of tea.
I used to draw and paint a bit and make music. Now I do not have the time anymore. Wait till I retire ?

Deedee123x: I love Music...it has gotten me through a couple of rough patches in life....just from their words and meaning alone....my interests vary....but mostly i love motown and 80s music.
I love to read and nothing can beat the smell of a new book...sitting down to read one...its escapism at its best. Love reading biographies....an odd romantic tale or two.....or crime books.
Art...i like to sketch when i can, also find it very therapeutic....
Sounds very therapeutic, all of it.
It is great that there r so many different forms, some for everyone Dd ?

Books - Paper books r going out of fashion, and e-books r taking over. Do some still read paper books ? Some don't read any book at all.
Art - Just about everyone has some form of art they pursue, they just don't recognize it as such !
Tell me about ur likes and dislikes ?
