Schools only start on the 17th of January and some companies will be opening their doors on the 8th which explains the lack of movement. Most companies will be back in full swing by the 15th.
Enjoy it while it lasts. I planned to go shopping today but postponed until tomorrow as I hate malls and shopping. Finally plucked up the courage driven by empty kitchen cupboards and a strong aversion to junk food.

pedro27: no just in general ..........it like a build up at the end of the year and then the start of the is flat IMO
like a high then a low
I do find a buildup to first Xmas then new year, but I don't feel a low now. It's just time to get back to work, and the holidays gave me the break to do the relevant planning for what's required to be done now. I'm re-freshed and ready for a new year.
