I wanted to be Catboy (note: not Catgirl laugh )

All went well until Catboy scaled the side of a hill at the age of 6, then looked down and saw how far from the ground he/she was, and panicked.

Catboy's brother then had to get Catboy's father to come rescue him/her.

End of Catboy.blues

Totally cute story Molls.. loved it! :)

You should’ve hollered for Mighty Mouse.. I’m sure he was behind the bushes watching intently as catboy climbed the hill.. I’ve heard it’s quite the view... the hill of course. angel

Cachuchi: Hi Gal

Yeap! All of us outside US grew up with our own Superheros, there are 2 with stories particularly fascinating: Kaliman & El Chapulin Colorado, both mexican but you can find more in every LA country Súper Hijitus from Argentina and Condorito in Chile ...I was never a fan of Superheros (except from my Batman of course) much more into other sort of cartoons as Mafalda from Argentina, she is like Peanuts but (sorry for this) a 10000 times better than Charly Brown.

applause alright ... Mafalda, the Little girls who challenged a nation......

thumbs up

ChesneyChrist: Superman was of course inspired by the American eugenics movement the same place Hitler found inspiration for his racial policies. But the concept of supermale has never really been a part of Britain when we do have them they come with the opposite strengths and qualities of a bully and I believe this sincerely reflects just how unEnglish fascism is.

but you be enjoy your intellectuals because the new world’s money and the intellectual heart Capatain America fought and defeated your drugged super neighbors for you.

ChesneyChrist: Britain has never been into the Nazi Superman thing, our superheroes always came in the form of a non-violent eccentric intellectual. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who.. I can't think of a superhero based on fascism any less than Doctor Who.
Asia comic art is probably less propaganda than mainstream North American comics as well. As a child I always went more Batman than Superman because he was more realistic. No super power just a smart guy with skills and an agenda.
