a person can fall in love at first sight (literally), or u suddenly see ur best friend differently, or it can take the general route of dating, etc.

I fell in love at first look with my ex, and see what happened.

Maybe the long root is better.

.
It has all been infatuation, l have never loved anyone except my Mother and Grandmother as l posted a while ago on another thread, however loving them may not be the same as a love of a woman. I doubt that many sane people could explain in words what actually being in love means.

My 'term' of loving someone is simply showing them that you are a good person, being kind and caring, respectful. I any of you think the same then we indeed know what love is.

When you are in love, everything changes. You become your better self - nicer, kinder, more patient, more tolerant... All problems aren't that big any more and difficult things are easier to endure. Somehow, everything becomes more beautiful and - shiny. You are inspired and motivated. You feel joy and want to share it. Just being with the person you are in love with is - enough.

It's a wonderful feeling. Too bad it doesn't last for a long time...

The first six months are a dream, then you love them less than your dog or favourite sandwich for about a year whilst pretending not to like anybody else. If you take to this behaviour it turns into a wedding.

Love is something that grows over time. You don't really notice it until oe day you realise that you are in love. It's a lovely feeling once that realisation hits.
