rizlared: Well I am halfway back to the UK, but sadly run out of time, my Dad passed away late Sunday afternoon. Peacefully thankfully.

rizlared: Some of you may remember that my Dad celebrated his 100th birthday in June last year, but seems he may not make 101. He fell a few days ago and broke his hip, had an operation which seemed to go well and it looked like he would make a good recovery, but just spoke to his doctor who told me he know has a bad chest infection, and antibiotics are not working, I am flying back to the UK this weekend to see if I can cheer him up.
Not looking for prayers etc, just some positive feedback and thoughts, I am a great believer that positive energy can cure anything.

Wow 100 years old Rizla, I have to congratulate your dad's longevity. I hope he is okay.
Note: My grandmother lived very healthy until 103 years old. Still with good memory and she was never in a hospital or doctor's care. She died in her sleep.

Stay strong and think of 100 years old, an entire century on this earth. My Grandad died yesterday apparently and I don't know what to feel, he was a soldier who in 1960 vanished into thin air.
