At the end of every year, many people make new resolutions (including myself) to start a new year. But, shouldn´t we first look at the last one and clear all the clutter of the previous years? What´s the point of making promises we cannot keep?
- What have been our accomplishments/failures? Did we do all the things we had intended to do but never got round to doing?
- Some people have come into our lives, while some others have left - What did we learn from them?
- We have extended the hand of friendship with some across oceans and continents – some have taken it, while some others have rejected it.
- We have offered advice, love, kindness at times – some have accepted it and have been grateful, while some others have resented it. We can only help those who wish to help themselves.
- We befriended some people and unfriended some others as some were found to be genuine and others not.
- Some bloggers have shown a lot of anger and hatred while others have shown love & compassion.
- Some have predicted the end of the world on many occasions – do we wish to live in Fear? Remember that Anger and Fear, although part of our survival mechanisms, resonate in the lowest frequency.
Hopefully, in the years that follow we will bring more love and light into this world to raise the vibrations of humanity and this beautiful planet we all live on.
Let´s think of it on a global scale and put all our thoughts onto a common goal and, before attempting to change the world, shouldn´t we first think of changing ourselves?
Well said, but a very tall order for many souls on our planet, but the Inner Revolution is the only one which will bring the change the majority of mankind is looking for.
MsContessa: There are two things to aim at in life:
first, to get what you want; and then, to enjoy it.
Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second.

That's the reason I don't like quotes, very often they say nothing wise... Not everything you want is the right thing for you...it can well make your life miserable...
I never had New year's resolutions, there is no special time of the year when I sit and think what and how should I do...this process is part of my everyday life... And because quotes are popular on here I'll reluctantly share one "Life is what's happening while you're busy making other plans"

Positivity attracts positivity...the opposite is also true
One can only strive to be the best they can be and achieve it, This cannot be bound by any other opinion but their own. That has been my experience...

Thanks.
So...we need a revolution do we? sometimes I wonder?
