No gambler ever, has admitted to making a loss.

You've never seen a bookie on a bicycle.

Gambling has a stigma for a good reason, the same way people say being an alcoholic is a stigma, both are addictive, and both destroy families.

The only people who win regarding gambling are those who can afford to lose, they play for fun and the thrill, the money is secondary.

Roulette is just a luck game and worse the odds are never in favour of the player, Roulette is a drain on your wallet simply because the game doesn't pay what the bets are worth. With 38 numbers (1 to 36, plus 0 and 00), the true odds of hitting a single number on a straight-up bet are 37 to 1, but the house pays only 35 to 1 if you win!

Gambling can be profitable BUT only if you are disciplined.
I Knew a keen Controlled gambler we *nick-named Buzz* when he served with me in the RAF. In 1956.
He was a De Havilland Apprentice Airframe fitter and used to bet on the dogs at the London tracks he was aged 22 & doing National Service and lived in Wembley.
In those days all apprentices got deferment up to age 26 - The wage drop was a shock from their mans rate as it used to be 16 shillings a week to start rising to about £1.50 per week in the last year. - He told us he was left some money by an aunt in her will before he joined up and set up an Betting account with £99 as his deposit in a bank. - He applied a strict rule to only ever gamble with £33 at any time and top up the account with half his winnings above that. - He always had £30 spare plus the blood money (NS wages) -
Wnen I was posted from the squadron in 1958 to the Fighter Command Band at Stanmore Park we used to meet up as its nor far from Wembley and he told me he had over £1000 at that time in the gambling account in confidence and we had all seen that he had bought a new Austin A35.-- He told me it was all done by cash from his winnings and I have no reason to doubt that as he told me the sum his Aunt left him - It was 3 times the cost of a 3 bed detached house.

A gambler isn't a winner if he gets greedy and ends up not leaving with his winnings/profits.

With the advent of Online Gambling, gambling has become a very serious addiction with most gamblers keeping their problem under the radar and suffering in silence.... I believe, a true gambler does not gamble to win, they gamble for the highs of winning and the lows of losing. conversing

I'm always amazed how the bookies and casinos In Ireland stay in business due to the amount of winners I hear talking about the town.

Pedro how much money would you have if you had have saved all the money you gambled over the years.
and If you say less than what you have won then Chances are you are delusional.

Or else Rain man laugh

I am assuming then that this gambling income is paying for your housing, food, bills, and livelihood, and government assistance is no longer needed.
