No harm, no foul. I'm here just killing time. You do realize there are sub headings like: Current Events, Politics, Writing, Music etc. When I post I always click the appropriate one. If that hampers your dating style... I sincerely doubt its me... maybe its just that you have zero game.

I was once asked... "Why are you here"? I answered... "I'm just slumming".
I don't have to travel to other countries to meet ladies. And I certainly don't have to import any.
If that's the way you like to spend your money that's your business. Good luck with that.

But 'romantic relationships' ? I'll take a pass. But I understand in your case... hope springs eternal.
Online romances to me are like kissing through a screen door. Probably the reason you never connected with any of those you imported was because you learned that it's imperative for ANY relationship's success that you really don't know anyone unless you spend more than a holiday week(end) with them.
To say you've done it many times is the definition of insanity.

You remind me of the kind of person that comes up at the very end of a conversation and catches the last word and begins to pontificate your opinion when you don't even know what the conversation is about.
How do you know if someone didn't message me and say "Please put up a video about "crazy dancing", I can't , I'm on my phone"

Just be thankful that's all I do. Because I find the competition to be VERY slim here. Heck, I'd dust your balls in flour and fry them up as little nut cutlets and feed them to the other soy boys.

Obviously you must agree the first thing anyone would consider in finding a relationship on a 2 dimensional medium such as an online dating site (should one be so fortunate or desperate), is to find those who are 'like minded'. As I'm often fond of saying ...water seeks it's own level.

I write about things that are important to me (not you, me), mainly politics (as most people can relate to their immediate political situation) and if they are not interested in what I am interested in...why would I even consider them as a romantic prospect? To get laid? Sorry pal, that's beneath me.
How's the saying go? Small minds speak of people, average minds speak of ideas, and great minds speak of events. I'm not interested in small minded people. So someone who doesn't share the same conservative political values as myself would not be a candidate for a relationship.

I'm also fascinated with religion and those esoteric mysteries and sciences that are hidden from the world. So any future prospect for a relationship would have to have a 'burning curiosity' concerning esoteric knowledge.
If I happen to meet a lass who in conversation told me... "I just finished the Philosophia Mystica by Paracelsus" She would certainly catch my attention. Because I would come back with "Me too! In Latin!"
Anything less would bore me. To quote Oscar Wilde..."A bore is someone who deprives you of solitude without providing you with company" Why would I purposely invite someone into my life when my goals
are so much different from hers? That would just be cruel.

Also after a very successful marriage I find for the first time in my life... I'm really not having to constantly do for others (altho I don't mind helping out). This second half of my life is my ME TIME.
This may sound somewhat braggadocious, but I am more entertained by my own intelligence than by the thoughts of others.

Walked the night and drank the moon, got home at half past four...
and I knew that no one marked my time, as I unlocked my door.
It's really lovely to discover, that you like to be alone;
Not to owe your lady an answer when she gets you on the phone.
Not to share a pair of pork chops when you crave champange and cheese, and your aim becomes to please yourself and not to aim to please.
Oh they sold me when they told me, two can live as cheap as one.
But I'm learning, twice the earnings doesn't mean its twice the fun.
If you spend each time and all your time on someone else's schemes; I'm not needy but I'm greedy and I live my deepest dreams:
Take an hour in the shower, use the water while it's hot...
In the tub a hand to scrub my back... is all I haven't got.
Self aware, with self esteem... is selfishness a crime?
I take the day for quite a ride, and I take my own sweet time.
Time to spare and time to share.. and grateful I would be..
If one damn woman would share the need...to be alone with me.
