Miwagi: Hello Let I saw Maria Muldaur perform that song live at the Hollywood Bowl July 21, 1974. She opened for the Grateful Dead, Commander Cody was also on the ticket. It was the first time they reopened Hollywood Bowl to rock concerts in quite awhile, and you could pack your own coolers in. There was pot everywhere and seems like a little window pane too. It was quite a rush and then the music stopped and it was over......bummer.
As "The Doors" so eloquently put it, "When the music's over, turn out the lights! Turn out the lights! Turn out the lights!" Music is the one thing I'd have trouble living without. At present, my CD collection only has about 1,500 albums in it. But that because I had a problem a few years back, and lost probably as many as I now have.
As far as Maria is concerned, the last time I bumped into her she was still singing and recording, but she's mainly singing blues, now. But she DOES have her own "style", which is why I love her.
And, since you mention the "Dead", tell me. Should I add my favorite "Dead" song "Uncle John's Band" to this list? Most people wouldn't consider it a "Love Song", I think. But "I" do.
