ChesneyChrist:
But the attitude is the similar to those people who put Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite to the sword and went on to create the increasingly appalling social conditions of the 19th century.
Indeed, the French were involved...
The US followed suit.
Charity is rarely founded in logic.

ChesneyChrist: The alternative method to defeat communism is fascism where you intensify religion, nationalism and myth so that people do not consider earthly matters and the leader rules society beyond the comprehension of society.

And that's the problem of privilege, or rather, the problem of declining privilege. Baby boomers are not advantaged today like they were when they were my age and consequently they maul the hand that feeds them. Defeat, decline and national humiliation leading to a fascist public, Trump is much less fascist than the people who like him he doesn't actually think like most of them do. The elite has done pretty well over the years whereas full fascism requires the elite to have been humiliated, too.
Fascism imo is for the impractical practical person. On one level it's masculine and aggressive and presents itself like best man for the job, but on the other hand fascism is profoundly spiritual and romantic living in a land of make believe like a teenager. Fascism is nothing if it is not inconsistent and its main focus is the aggressively posturing impotent, those who believe they're best man for the job even though they've regressed into pre-adulthood.

I guess I'm ranting against charity shops because they open up everywhere as the country goes nowhere. Of course we should feed the hungry and suffering in society but let's talk less and get on with the doing of it, pay your taxes anonymously like a good citizen. Don't make helping others about you.

lindsyjones: I donate a lot to them for tax purposes. I shopped to most of them specially in the Red Cross in Collangata. All brand new designers items. I bought this guess luggage for only $90.00 which could have been $750.00 at the downtown Sydney where I bought my carry on.

I don't need anything anymore. So shopping doesn't take much of my time.
It's good you donatehandshake
