With the Winter Olympics already underway, these games could prove to be the biggest and best yet.
What are your interests and thoughts about the event ?.

Over to you!
I watched the indoor skating this morning, the 500m women. Exciting stuff and you'd need good balance. One poor girl fell and banged her hip! Ouch! Hope she's ok.

I've always enjoyed watching the Women's Skating competition too! The best legs in the business ...
The biggest and best yet... I'm yet to see any sporting or cultural event, claiming to be not quite as good as last time or nearly as good as the Russians/Chinese...
I enjoyed the ski jumping yesterday, finding the snowboarding pretty tedious. Considering our ski fields are around the same size as a shopping centre, and the season goes for only a few months each year, we are well represented really.

no thoughts and little interest but lots of hope for much good will
It was nice to see the last leg of the Olympic torch was carried by a South Korean and a North Korean together. Also to see the North/South Korean womens hockey team.

Loved how the flag bearer from Tonga was wearing only a grass skirt and shorts covered in coconut oil. Same guy from the last Summer Olympics. He must have been freezing.
2 medals in snowboarding for us Canucks!!! As side note Rob Rebagliatti (Rob Inthebagliatti) got an in depth profile on TSN just prior to the start of the Olympics. Seems getting busted for using pot during his Olympics didn't hurt him that much. With legalization in Canada he has landed a spokesperson job with one of our new pot corporations!!! (Hope he can remember his lines)
