I am disappointed in people and in men, obviously. :) I really prefer to spend time with my dog and my cat and my dad, these days... Books, music, movies, art, crafting... Anything is safer than going out and meeting people, opening up and fail! But in the safety of my room, I wish and wish. How about you?

For me, purposely going somewhere to "meet" someone would be a non starter as to me its starting off on the wrong foot. You just meet people along the way, and if they are going in the same direction you, then you may wish to continue together. There are people everywhere....sometimes its the same characters you have met before.
Some people will live with each other for life and/or some people will love each other for life...and some people wont.

My efforts are more directed towards avoiding people. I prefer online, you can just shut down the computer when you've had enough. Unfortunately, people in real life don't have an off switch.
